Kobelco is famous for quiet engines and strong digging force for the weight class. Two models importers ask about constantly are the SK210 / SK210D (~20 ton) and the SK75 compact/mini class for urban and farm work.
SK210 / SK210D mid-size
Check iNDr duct cleanliness, pump whine, and boom foot bushings. Kobelco units that worked in demolition need extra crack inspection on the boom. Low-hour SK210D machines from Chinese fleets can be excellent value versus CAT 320GC.
SK75 compact class
Confirm rubber vs steel tracks for your yard. Rubber-track SK75s suit paved sites; steel tracks suit muddy farms. Measure track tension and look for final-drive leaks — a common costly repair on used minis.
Export tip
SK75 often fits container loading; SK210 usually needs flat-rack. We quote both methods from Shanghai once we know your port.
