Used Wheel Loader for Sale from China: SDLG and CAT Export Guide

Release time: 2026-10-26

Excavators get most of the search traffic, but many sites also need a used wheel loader for sale from China for stockpile work, truck loading and quarry face cleanup. Shanghai exporters commonly stock SDLG, CAT, Volvo, Komatsu, LiuGong and XCMG loaders that can ship alone or alongside excavators on a combined logistics plan.

Loader classes buyers request

  • 3–5 ton rated: SDLG 933/936/953/956 / L958 family — popular price performers for general yards
  • CAT 950 / 966 class: stronger resale and global parts for serious fleets
  • Volvo L120 / L150 and Komatsu WA380: buyers who already live inside those dealer networks
  • LiuGong / XCMG: CapEx-sensitive projects with local Chinese-brand support

Wheel loader inspection checklist

  1. Articulation joint play and pin wear — walk around while an operator articulates slowly
  2. Bucket edge, floor and GET condition — floor holes appear late and cost real money
  3. Transmission shift quality and stall behaviour under load
  4. Axle noise and differential / hub leaks
  5. Tyre brand, tread depth and matching across corners
  6. Hydraulics — lift/tilt drift with a loaded bucket in the air
  7. Cab electronics, HVAC and visibility aids for dusty climates
  8. Frame cracks near loader tower and articulation area

Tyres can decide the deal

A cheap FOB price with scrap tyres is not cheap after landing. Ask for tread depth photos on all four corners and whether rock or sand tyres are fitted for your site. Replacing four large loader tyres in Africa or the Andes can erase the “bargain” overnight.

Pairing loaders with excavators

Many importers buy a 20-ton excavator plus a 5-ton loader in the same quarter. Tell us early so document sets and sailing windows can align. Loader height may require different packing than an excavator — confirm Ro-Ro vs flat-rack vs partial dismantling before comparing quotes.

Browse used wheel loaders on YCHS and WhatsApp the stock ID. Excavator pairings start from the excavators catalogue.

Send rated load target, tyre expectation, port and whether you need the loader with a specific excavator on the same plan.

SDLG vs CAT — honest positioning

SDLG often wins the CapEx conversation for yard loading and general aggregate work. CAT 950/966-class machines usually win when you need dealer coverage, higher resale or tougher quarry duty cycles. Komatsu and Volvo sit in between depending on your existing fleet. The wrong approach is to force an SDLG into a CAT-shaped expectation without checking articulation play and transmission behaviour on video.

First week after arrival

Change filters if service history is unknown, inspect axle breaths, re-torque ladder and guard bolts, and log tyre pressures. Train operators on articulation awareness in tight stockyards — many loader incidents happen in the first fortnight with new-to-fleet machines.

If you also need a dozer or excavator, tell us so packing and sailing can be coordinated rather than booked as three disconnected shipments.

What to write in your first WhatsApp message

Include rated load or popular model (for example SDLG 956 or CAT 966), year/hours window, tyre expectation, destination port, and whether the loader must sail with a named excavator. Clear briefs get faster, accurate video replies. Vague “send loaders” messages waste a day of back-and-forth and sometimes reserve the wrong machine.

Safety and site readiness

Check reverse alarms, mirrors and beacon lights on the video. Loaders work in crowded stockyards; missing alarms become insurance problems. Confirm ROPS/FOPS condition if your site rules require them, and ask whether a third-function valve is fitted for high-dump or special attachments.
